With our location along the Chicago River and in the Avondale community, we’re excited about our new chapter with eden. Our menu contains spruced-up fan favorites and new flavors for you to try. We’re partnering with small and minority-owned businesses to source beverages, ingredients, and merchandise. We welcome you to our new space with a wide variety of offerings.
Whether you want to pick up coffee on your way to start the day or plan to relax on our couches and catch up with friends during lunch, we welcome you to our cafe. Consider eden your membership-free space to work, mingle, and enjoy delicious food and drinks.
Our pastry program creates only fresh bakery goods for the breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. We make all of our pastry goods in-house from scratch. By using housemade bread and other goods, we can create unique and exclusive items only for eden.
Bar & Bites is a spin-off of the typical happy hour. We’re shifting the post-work drink narrative into a more relaxed approach. You’ll be able to sit at the bar and try bites exclusively made between 3pm till closing Mondays-Fridays. Starting June 15th, see you then.
Our new greenhouse has almost doubled in size (now 12’x30’x8’) from our previous location. The expansion allows for more growth and area to plant new crops. We’ve made more eco-conscious decisions while designing the new greenhouse. Get that farm-to-table taste with our fresh ingredients in our greenhouse, located right along the river.
Slate and Selenite are our private dining rooms located in eden. Host a private event in our space and choose options from our private dining menu. If you’re looking to host a larger event, we can accommodate full buyouts in eden. Learn more and submit a private dining inquiry.
Created in partnership with Great Central Brewing Company, the eden Pils, is a German-style Pilsner with a light and refreshing flavor perfect for any season. The subtle floral and spicy notes makes this classic a beverage easily enjoyed on its own or paired with one of our greenhouse speciality dishes. The bar, run by Alex Rydzewski, will also emphasize woman- and minority-owned wineries.
Located off the main entrance of the restaurant, you’ll find eden market. Shop a range of home goods, gifts, and collectibles. All merchandise purchased is from fair trade small businesses around the US. Items will be exclusive to the on-site market and will change seasonally.
