This month, we’re teaming up with Chef César Murillo of North Pond for a flavorful fall collaboration benefiting Strength in the City’s “Rebels for a Cause” initiative, which helps underprivileged children access boxing, karate, and other after-school fitness programs.
The Queso Birria Torta features smoked lamb, Prairie Breeze cheddar, and a Korean pear–habanada slaw, served with rich consommé for dipping. Inspired by shared values and seasonal cooking, the sandwich highlights Asian pears and pear vinegar from Oriana’s Orchard, where Chefs Devon and César first connected through Green City Marke. Available all November during lunch and weekend brunch—enjoy a delicious sandwich that gives back to the community.
