James Beard Eats Week is here, and there’s few places in the world with culinary diversity like Chicago. From 3-star Michelin restaurants to countless hole-in-the-walls dotted throughout the city’s 77 unique neighborhoods, everyone is guaranteed to find a new place to enjoy and a first-time cuisine to experiment with. But Chicago’s exceptional food scene also means that it’s the perfect place to host James Beard Week, an entire 11 days of food celebrations in the city’s top restaurants.
Eden could not be more excited about participating this week, and will offer an exclusive tasting menu developed by Executive Chef Devon Quinn. Our menu will feature innovative and never-before-seen dishes, and highlight our greenhouse, where much of our herbs and garnishes are grown year-round. Eden will also host a James Beard Brunch.
At the end of James Beard Week, the James Beard Awards will be held on May 6th at the Civic Opera House, where the top culinary individuals of the world will descend upon Chicago to honor exceptional chefs.
